This is an example of the "home page" to the SiteVista® application. Each page can be integrated into your site's pages. The navigation above is customized to highlight some to the features of the application. I have created two maps: a portfolio and a gov 2.0 initiatives map with the same application. The advanced features of the content management system enable me to create classifications for each project type and build the content form on an as needed basis. Project search shows all the fields I have created and allows you to search by these criteria as well as by zip code radius. Select & Map shows all the entries in the system, allows the user to check the ones they want to map. Submitting the form returns only the selected entries. Click View Map to load a hand filtered map.

Open the PlaceVision Portfolio map.
Goto the Portfolio page and Click on "View on Map"

The map is dynamically generated and contains a network link which refreshes every minute.

The portfolio map has custom icons. There are 5 variations denoting the different types of projects. The base kml file could contain a legend denoting the project types.

Open the Gov 2.0 map.
Goto the Gov 2.0 page and Click on "View on Map"

For this beta map, I added a few notes and a screen capture of the project site. Once loaded in the viewer and saved, this file will refresh in the viewer as I update the map. I can share this map's content as a layer in the viewer which permits multiple map layers from different sources to be viewed simultaneously. This is called a "mashup".

You can create a guided tour of your projects or customize the kml base layer to add SketchUp models, GIS layers, or image overlays.
